What Do We Do

If we devise a world wide network between all countries (similar to World War II's NATO or our modern UN) that would regulate on a case-by-case basis the balance of deforestation vs. reforestation, then the problems can begin to be solved.

Each country would agree to the most basic of solutions; plant two trees for every one cut down. This would not only maintain but replenish the forests, creating a safer future for all humanity.

If we choose to do nothing, our world as we know it will cease to exist. We need action, we need government officials to take a stance and save the planet for the future. Humans leave a foot print the size of a yeti as compared to most other species' ant sized footprint. Things need to change before it becomes too late to change them.
